Mapping on the 735XT. I currently have a FR630 and use DwMap for navigating a route that I've uploaded prior to running. Does the 735XT support this as standard so I can create a route in Garmin Connect, save then follow? I'm looking for a factory based option instead of a 3rd party app if possible. Thanks both for ur ideas. Pressing and holding the power (light) button doesn't help. Even pressing it for 5, 10, 15 secs. The service menu flips automatically, I can't navigate via the up and down buttons.
For me I did fix it repeating to hold for short moments the power button. Differently than one long press. clicking many time for 5-10 seconds gave me a different bip sound and it rebooted. I did identify that the main problem was the button [Direction down] that was broken.

My Polar device says my rate for the same run is about 130. I had the same problem years ago with an older Garmin device, except that one worked real well for a couple of years and then started intermittently registering off-the-wall-high rates. The GPS on that one went goofy too, so I bought the Polar. In a word, I don't trust the Garmin heart
